QUOTE(GTRVspec95 @ Sep 18 2007, 11:50 AM) A question for the Sprint masses ![]() Has anyone used DBA rotors ? Thinking of getting a set to go with an upgraded set of brake calipers ... Has anyone had experience with any of their range ? i have DBA slotted, drilled and vented rotors. not sure on the model number but they seem to go well. not too sure on how they would hold up to abuse over a long period of time, but they seem to go alright. take a bit of getting used to though. It all depends on how deep your pockets are really. |

Front rotors $944, rear rotors $550, ferodo ds 3000's front and back $750 ![]() Maybe I should just get your old brake set up and bolt them on ![]() Budget doesn't allow a massive splurge on the brakes ... but they are rather important when going onto the track. |

I hope you don't run those as your normal street pads ![]() DBA seem to be a fairly decent rotor for the price, particularly for an Australian company. When you start moving into cross drilled rotors you're always going to start coming across complaints of cracking. ROCK ON R~R |

nah i have stock as a block pads on for street, just throw the ds's in when i am going to track, although i had them in for 1 week while i was driving araound and even cold they brake 10 times harder than the stocks i have in now. Best thing ever for the track. for the civic you would only have to do the fronts jamie, they will pull up hard just get the front rotors and some green stuff pads you will be right |

I was going to say, running DS3000s on the street, cold, will just munch straight through your rotors. I love my DS2500s - no brake fade whatsoever! ROCK ON R~R |

EDIT: posted at same time as MEV....dont get Greenstuff pads, i managed to cook my greenstuff pads, in an 830kg car with 66hp....i now have the Ferodo DS2500's, were cheaper than greenstuffs and twice as good (cold and hot). work fine on the street too ![]() Thats the shit I'm looking for ![]() <3 Jezza ![]() Just looking at the EBC stuff I would be looking at a Yellow or Red ... The Green ones look like they are basically designed for Grannies in cars going down hill to fast ![]() |

My preference will always lie with Ferodo - Either the DS2500 or DS3000 range. |
