Mark & Russ don't run slicks, which make a huge difference in lap times, whereas John does. No disrespect to John, fantastic times full stop end of story, to do 54's is awesome. I'm hoping for 54's on semi's myself when I next head out in a month or so

dave homer is bring out the swift for a run, it will be good to see if he can go quicker than a 57 and andy is bring the 4wd swift out again.

this will be our last year for the sprints, we will probably finish 2nd to Mr GT40 again in Road 8, oh well. Next year we will be doing the Top Gear events

The s2 will be out there this weekend. I just came back from the workshop. I fixed the gear stick and saved them from pulling the box out

Will probably make the trip out there in the Datsun 1600 to check out the competition.

Parts arrive for the engine either tomorrow or early next week so with any luck I should have the new engine in within a month if not two.

I think it's unfair to claim street tyres title with a car that is unable to get mod plate for the public roads or cars with bare metals interior. Times are going banana, so lets introduce some control lol It's a bit oxymoronic if you run road legal tyres in a unregisterable car. So I think only manly men run sprints with road legal tyres in their fully road legal car with aircond and a full sound system Sick uley

Dispite being hot I also managed a PB of 66.05s. I was able to get some valuable tyre temperature data to work with, so hopefully a 65 next time.

It certainly was a hot one, but at least my head stayed in one piece this time. I took 4 seconds off my previous best with a 1.03.75.

Was alot of fun, finally got back out there after 8 months. Forked out for some semi-slicks. Still gotta find their limit but managed a new PB on my 3rd lap in. Doin consistance 62's now

Got put into the newbies group , but still managed a PB of 61.73. I will be able to reach the low 60's no problem next time Goal is to crack the 60's before the year is out.

Chasing that Topgear entered Skyline was great fun, he had a lil more squirt but I was faster in the corners, we both kept going wide offa turn 1 into the dirt trying to push it

Next time hopefully not so much traffic for me and I'll be getting some sweet times, just gotta find the limit of these new tyres

congratulations to Rob and Ivan for doing a blistering 56.92 in their little black NA and putting our Z to shame we just cant keep up in those twisty corners, no PB for us only managing a 58.06.

Road 8 again will be close this year, the GT40 had throttle problems getting stuck open and ended up flying into the kitty litter at 180 clicks Paul and car are ok though which means a points boost for us and I think we will now be level pegging for the title after this round.

It was great fun to learn how to drive RWD car again. It's much harder than my skyline I spun so many times at the beginning My best with the s2k today was only 60.00 on the drifbox during practice session. The car still has a few glitches that will need some work. I think I have to put it on a weight diet to catch up with you guys next time

Hell yea! we are in the 56s now. Since last time we have installed Emanage, got more midrange now. We did a newbie mistake by forgetting to remove the 180km Jap speed limiter as we used a standard ecu with the emanage. Poor ivan had to drive all the way back to is shop to get a speed cut fender. He made it back after the 3 session and found out there wasnt a 4th session!

Lucky I managed a 56 even tho we were hitting the limiter and coasting the last 100m of the straight! So theres still some time in the car left

18 months ago we were doing 64's so its awesome to be were we are now.

Nope, group 6 with all the new guys But it was ok, had some fun with them . Looking forward to breaking that 60s barrier, had to learn the car over again with a few more suspension tweaks, semi slicks and power steering.
