Hypothetically, its only a car with a rodeo engine bay and we want to make the 'car' go faster!!!!

I meant, you should bolt a turbo onto the factory motor. The 2.6L loves a bit of forced induction!

turbo the 4ze1 thats in it, some have been known to get around 400HP, obviously not much was left stock though, or a V6 conversion, or a 5litre conversion, SR20, CA18, RB20, 1j, 2j, RB25DE or DET, 1uz-fe.

But if he works at macca's an engine swap is definately not on the cards.

i reckon for little extra power and plenty of torque bolt on a SC14 or SC12 supercharger, they go for about 300-450 on ebay. work involved- easy way is to sacrifice the air con and supercharger goes in its place, may invole a bit of bracket fabrication/modification, re-route intake piping and hook up a switch to turn it on and off cause these superchargers have an electric clutch similiar to your air con. but please note wacking a supercharger on a stock motor will reduce its lifespan faster than normal. thats one option for ya!

Contact Peter Waggot from Waggot Cams in Northern NSW & have a chat to him about cam options. I got mine from him back in '96 for my white spacecab. That with some double valve springs & a pod filter had me kicking the asses of the v6 Commo brigade. wink.gif

*EDIT - BTW P-plater friendly mod option & within the budget constraints of someone working at maccas wink.gif
