Id do it yourself mate the kits are cheap and most shops quote 600-1000 to do it. They arent hard to do.

nope I already have one to do on the weekend as well as install a locker and then I need to throw the new seats in my car also. Between my 2 pos and my mates I have morethan enough to do already. Add to that Synergys lights and locker shortly also and the list keeps going :P

I would be surprised if its much less. The snake kit is $320.00 then add 4 hrs labour, then the lifting of bullbars, modding and lengthening things that may be needed also it does get up there. As I said its normally between 600-1000, id be really surprised if he was much cheaper.

i wouldnt, as i know what beau is like, especially with return customers, and the fact hes a good bloke and isnt just in his job to make money off peoples trucks, he truly just enjoys working on cars( fourbys especially). he doenst over charge on parts or labour.
im sure there a couple of people on here that will also confirm this/ agree.

i agree too jade,i could do it myself but the use of his workshop would be very helpful,as well as his knowledge...

and id supply the parts so it wouldnt be costing me anywhere near that amount

As soon as I get a spare weekend to get them home. I now have the engine, turbo, rear diff, IFS hub spacers, and picked up a set of 38" swampers on the weekend for it. So once its home, itll be body off, fit the coil rear, and histeer, ruf etc. Then rebuild the motor and get all that in place before dropping the body back on. Depending on cash flow will be up and running by January :)

hey all. me again with some more coffs action. we headed out for an arvo drive in the mud yesterday for those who can't make our friday night runs. well you wouldnt believe how much we did in four hours. started off in a nat park with a little hill climb for the experenced which nearly claimed a hilux(see pics), from there headed on again through some tight little tracks that gave the duco a good going over. up a smallish
hill with deep ruts that a few got hung up on and aventually we got away and headed to one of the local deserted quarry's for a little muck around. after everyone had enough of playing some went home and the rest headed out to the water/mud tracks that we did on friday night to finish off the day.
Just a few pics of the days outing. Hope you all enjoy. Cheers, adam
