Well I got a call Monday arve, it seemed 4wd Monthly/Action were going to be at LCMP park and were looking for some vehicles to shoot. So myself and a few mates took the day off work and headed out to the park.

I have to give a huge thanks to the guys at Fourbys who stayed back late Monday night to fix the steering I broke on Saturday.

We didnt get too many pics as we were having too much fun, I ended up busting the passenger side CV on Cruiser Canyon. Drove the ledge but was having overfuelling issues so was having to use more throttle than I would have liked. Anyway it's a cheap fix and I had an absolute blast. Heres a couple of pics of the day.

Small update I have bought a couple of 85 Hilux dual cabs. The goal is to use them to build myself a comp/hardcore weekend wheeling rig.

Will get pics up when I pick them up in a couple of weeks, itll be a slow buildup but should be great when done. So to avoid wasting money the Lux will be relegated to light to medium wheeling, just need to finish off a couple of things and its finished.

oh the joys of building a truck.
i just found out that the diffs in my 80 are deisel diffs(apperntly better for running 33s), so i wont have my locker untill the end of august at the earliest, as the locker we ordered was for a petrol diff(different ratio) and arb dont have any deisel lockers in stock.

damn im pissed. now i gotta wait longer to try my truck out with a locker.
nobodys fault but. probably should of pulled the diff out before we ordered it but lol.

will i ever win. if its not one thing its the bloody other hehehe

?????

The diffs are no different between petrol and diesel 80 series.

ARB list 80 series with an RD132 Front and a RD33 for the rear regardless, the RD28 which is no longer listed is the old front locker. All 80's were 4.11 ratio. So no better for running 33's just the same.
