Well then that's all my questions answered, my steering wheel is legal, my ride height is legal, my wheels are legal, exhaust is legal, im all good! As i thought and im sure most others did, i thought it was any mod other than standard, regardless if its still classed as legal, and well game over. |

If you change an exhaust and reduce it's silencing effectiveness from standard you are going to court. Regards Cameron It is the minor of the two BUT still an impound offence. |

I welcome the new laws. I cant wait to see how pwned our courts get. 3 year waiting lists anyone? By the time the court date rolls around, you wont be interested in the car scene anymore anyway |

For all the people that want to sell their modified cars: How do you plan to get any sort of money for your cars if the new buyer faces having their car impounded 5 minutes after purchase? |

Seeing as you cant be an engine thats older than the chasis of the car into it. So the car has to meet all the requirements that the original car had to meet in regards to the engine. ie noise / emissions ect. if that makes sense... |

I think the amount of police chases will greatly increase if such laws are introduced. most wouldnt be willing to hand the keys of their money pit over to the po po, and would flog the crap out of it trying to get away.. |
