Post #1 post 27th April 2007 - 10:27 PM
Hey, I had a quick look around, but couldn't find the right info. Just wondering what has to be done to change a car's colour with queensland transport after getting it resprayed? e.g. If my car is Red now, and registered that way, and i re-spray it green, what will i need to do to change my rego details. Will QLD transport need to see the car? Is there a fee involved?
Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

after u paint it, give them a call, they will send you out a new rego sticker of a green car. but you may need to call them about a fee, iam not sure about that one.

your best option is probably just to call DOT and find out either way. instead of posting here, where lets be honest you will only get the correct answer 90% of the time.

just ring up and change the colour and the details will be changed in their systems. there is no fee and they will just send out a new rego sticker that says the change of colour on it. biggrin.gif
