hey everyone.... how easy would it be to lower my ute?? i would like to do it myself to save some money cos i have close to nothing, ive never done it before.... i own a 85 model rodeo and i want to use 2 inch blocks at the back.... any help would be appreciated thanks!!

I just lowered my mates rodeo, i flip the load spring and put it on top and used 3inch blocks also, this dropped it about 7 inchs! Looks sweet but if your wanting to keep it legel then just run the 2's and wind the front torsions down a little! Best way to do this would be to remove the standard u-bolts, place a stedy jack under yor diff, raise the diff, your blocks will have a locating pin, place them in position and then lower the jack and tighten up the u-bolts! I have found that you may want to use 2 bolts on each thread, one to tighten and the other to lock it there so it won't become loose! Hope that helps! |

hey mate yeh lowering it is easy as! i lowered mine and the only thing u have to pay for is the lowering kit for the back (this is only if u have a tortion bar and leaf spring setup which that should have) |
