i was wondering would it be possible at all im pretty sure it cant be done unless u wanted to put hours of time and engineering into it sorta thing, but can u buy turbo manifolds for tritons??

would all have to be custom work, but could be done.

would probably be easier and more cost effective to put a turbo sigma motor in.

You could try manifolds off GTO, as both cars are 6G72, it'll just be an issue of clearances...

You could possibly dop GTO transplant if you have a lazy 10g lyin' around...

apparently u can fit a 302ci in the tritons with out to much work i looked in to it a bit but couldnt be FU^&

I've got a 91 2.5lt Turbo Deisel Triton as stocko...so yeah, not sure how you could adapt the inlet etc to a petrol motor as I'm not that way inclined.....

Ill be on the look out for a siggy motor or a galant motor.

Its only the 2x4 model with a 2.4ltr petrol motor in her, will the siggy motors still fit in easily what els do u reack will need to be done.

probabaly the easiest turbo motor would be starion motor and box , or if u want to spend more money , vr4 with l200 5 speed converted to hydrulic clutch and plenty of other shit to alter and change .

it can be done as i have done this mod to my 2001 triton with the 2.4 litre 4g64 the turbo manifold is the same as the mitsi evo motor it bolts straight on i did my conversion my self for about $3500

302's and 308's.. Or why not try a 3.5L magna motor.. Would be gutsy..

Early sigma motors were noisy and rattly.. I know of alot of sigma motors that have blown up after only 30,000+ k's..

Why not put a 3L V6 turbo motor in it? However you will have to check gearbox compatibility, radiator, drive shaft, exhaust, front suspension for weight of engine.. etc ..

We own a stock 3L V6 4X4 GLS Triton, that pulls over 200km's without any problem or mod's..

Thats wicked man! so the 4g64 motors what r they out of?

Just went and looked and relised thats the stock motor! thats wicked, how much boost u runnen? was there much work to do it? hard to find the manifold? etc

running 5 to 6 pound of boost. there wasnt a lot of work involved in it and the manifold is easy to get from any performance shop. running 5 to 6 pound of boost makes it quicker than any stock V6 commodore. Using an after market microtech computer and I also changed full exhaust system to 3"

oh the diff is welded and the turbo is a standard turbo of a skyline and it will fry up both my mags wich are 9 inches wide but i did have to upgrade my clutch cause i fried the stock one go on google and type in 4g64 you will find a lot of info about the motor

I have just turbo charged my 97 triton 4g64 with a tdo4l rex turbo with no major problems
im just waiting on a micro ecu to finish the job i tryed it without the ecu it didnt quite
work lol. i made a custom manafold my self the prodject hasent cost me over $1500
