looks nice Misssnugz
dont get pressured into the mod bug its good to get the most of your ride but ppl do go over board whilst doing so.

look more towards

tyres
protection for running gear and maybe panels etc

and lockers or a winch :)
and if your pressured a lift of 2 inches might help your cause but depends on what type of driving you will be doing etc

most of all have fun with it

Thanx hoon69.... no i wont be modding it all that extremely.... i still want a cute girls car!! tyres maybe.. but they've talked me into getting a good exhaust... and maybe a turbo to get it a bit more power.. and a 3inch lift kit after that to give me a lil bit more clearance when we're out and about.....

but most of them have really heavily modified cars.... so i climb in theirs.. hehe mines still always going to stay the girls one!!

hey nice trucks i got a 1982 hilux 4x4 (i'll get some photos when its complete) its been repainted gloss black with rainbow metal flake over the top. we've done heaps to it rebuilt motor and gearbox, alloy tray, alloy bullbar, new roof lining, carpet, mr2 buckets, xplod head unit and 4 inches (sub on the way), and new bonnet. should look good with everything back on bout twoo weeks till complete. only prob ive gotta wait another year for my learners....

hell yeh DUS12, a racing truck.

that was the grand plan for my 2wd hilux when i bought it but the shear price of the shocks and components scared me off. i was going to turn it into a full blown prerunner.

got some specs on the truck? it is a 4wd patrol isnt it? solid front axle?

its a gq with gu front diff, front and rear air lockers, rock crawler gears. 5 inch wizard coils. snake control arms all round now running 12 inch fox shocks with remote resivours and hydraulic bump stops on the front, full internall cage, fat industries front bar with warn hi mount winch running plazma rope and 6hp motor, td42 balance turbo and intercooled,race seats and harnesses, oh and both diffs are braced i think thats about it

a little bit of higher speed stuff and no not alot mainly winch comps and superior all terrain challenges i wanna do. i have only done a few local short corses and one all terrain
