THANKS ANG On behalf of the MILANCO Crew great day. Shame my car got an oil leak but thats racin. It was good too see some of the cars we have done work on and built riping it up. I will be definately in for the next one and im sure we will bring lots of cars then too. Thanks Damien for the prep mate my car would have never got down otherwise I was happy with 150mph after looking at my data logger and seeing how bad i turned the tyres

I remember being hooked on my first ever run and trying to go faster every run Good luck with it.. I may chat to the Milanco boys about a bigger converter to get me off the line quicker I have heard good things about them

I decided to walk the track before the first pass, and I can tell you that after the rain it had less traction than the average street. Anything faster than probably a 14 would have had bulk wheel spin.

Even after the spray we were 2psi in our tyres (a huge amount) below what we usually use and running high 1.3 60's, when we should be doing 1.2's on that tyre pressure. I was missing 10mph to half track due to wheel spin, and with the temperature I would have been slightly down on rwhp, which say 5% when you have as much as we do is still a significant figure.

Next year to get any faster cars you will HAVE to spray the track and considering the bikes complained before we even went for our walk, the $7 each wouldn't be a bad investment........

It was fantastic to see and hear your car out, and hope you can make the next one and we will run side by side (to 60' when I dust you arse...... )

I think in the skid i hit the traction compound on the start line which flicked it sideways...

I now will have rags stuffed down the back of my pants to stop the little accident after the first burnout finished

HOLY FRIGGIN HELL there is like 18 pages i have just flick through since i was last one hear. thats funny that people have been waiting for the hervey bay guys to come back online. (this should keep chris davey happy now) we did have a couple of delays/stops that made us get home later....... nollsy talked us into going to mooloolaba beach so he could try tan his boobs Mr rota..... jason did run a 12.0 (did notice you have been very curious to find out) unsure of mph for that run. Ang nollsy is a worry and always will be..... he tried to have a nude shower at the beach and also ang thanks for organising a great day.... i had a blast. also thanks to stu and my partner claire for there support/assistance through out the day with timeslips, water etc. hope old mate on the bike is alright..... i did meet him earlier cos that scruiteneers give him and me the same number (no way was i running 12.0 and 11.9) and they had to change his number and i was also ready to drop my skid when he came off..... poor bloke. for me i ended up with pb of [email protected] and even managed to do passes bout every 8mins. did approx 18runs. missing few slips cos of the mix up with numbers. anyhow all the long nights were worth it and am ready for the next drag day. last thing...... loved it when jason went up to the tower to see damien mckern. myself nollsy and stu were down the track yelling out punch him and carrying on like usual that was definately a highlight....... anyhow enough for now

Anyone have a slip for 13.2 with the number 2057 on it. was my fastest pass but someone took my slip by accident i d say would love to know my mph etc.

i beat you as well... but i think the supra had something to do with that one and thanks for pulling over to help me try and get my helmet off..

was a great day ang! had heaps of fun and cant wait for the next one.

i wanna say thanks to russ for letting me drive his car.. i was soooo suprised when he said i could AND nearly died when he told me to do a skid. the first skid was crap, cause i forgot to turn off traction control, but the second one was awesome. well i liked it anyway, em said it was "cute".

our fastest times for the day were

russ: 14.26
me: 14.34

i nearly beat him.

we also had teh fastest supra for the day.

we are definatly going to have to sign up next time, had the comentators calling us rob all day, then i told em, my name was nicole, the, whenever russ drove, they were calling him nicole. lol..

anyways ang, bring onthe next one!! love your work.

ok guys,thanks ang for the great day,sorry we didnt have a run grump2,maybe next time aye,it was still fun stirring each other anyway over the commentators p/a system

to all intersted in what i ran,i ran 15 passes for the day,with a best of [email protected] ran 14psi boost and had a fair bit of grip there but had HUGE intake temps all day....man i need bonnet vents
every run u guys saw me doing was starting with over 40deg b4 i even started the burnout,so it cost me a lot of power on the day.

i am also proud to say that i did not lose one race all day,only one to sil80 when i backed off at half track at he just pipped me to the finish.i was still running 12.7 or 12.8 on back offs so i was pretty happy.i tried to put more boost into it but just could not get it down in first gear so i turned it back down again.

i had great fun towards the end doin rev limiter 2nd gear burnouts to 1/3 track.was great fun,i got a free cd for it too if anyone has still shots of my bigger burnouts please put them up as i would love to see them.

man am i keen to go back racing again after that,IM HOOKED NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

great day all up,no breakages at all,had my pinion nut come loose on my diff on the way home yesterday but fixed it up and all ok again.

Just lookin at the slips for them 3 races we had in a row. that last race where the slip said i won at 1000ft you were only .1 sec behind the times for your 12.5 in the race we had just before that so yeah if you kept into it you wouldve beat me with approx 12.6. Anyhow enjoyed racing you and nollsy as well and congrats to you guys on your times. Also totally unrelated but no friggin pics of my car have been posted up anywhere.

pitty we couldnt get a toxin sprinter vs toxen lancer race muhahahaha, would have been good to put another car under the sprinters collection

was a great day, got a new pb for our 60 foot times, and pitty about the temp, microtech was showing 63 degrees intake temp >.<

we pulled a 2.007 60foot, which for a car built totaly out of home, and a open diff wasnt to bad.

the best was 13.3 but i couldnt do any tuning on it at the risk of detonation from the heat, but was a good day of runs non the less.

Thanx Ang for the day it was one of the best days of my life. I beat 51L80, i got to do skids and there were some wicked cars. I done a PB of 13.2 @ 108. it was good to meet all the ppl i did and i just want to ay that im sorry if i didnt come say hi. i only lost 3 races for the day which i was happy bout. well the trip home was good too, stopped off at mooloolaba for a dip in the sea and have a good perv too. And i am also happy to say that we had no serious car troubles. i cant wait to see all the photos and videos.
