QUOTE(synergy @ Nov 3 2006, 08:47 AM) fine, ill just go wit the 2" sus lift ![]() thats mean i dont need extended shockies in the front... I would only wind your Torsion bars up enough to get a 1 1/2'' lift. Anything over that will dramatically wear all your componets. CV boots will wear very quickly and are a pain in the ass to replace. |

QUOTE(HOON69 @ Nov 8 2006, 12:09 PM) its true that the above are closed and dont listen to any of them trying to say its OK to go out there either. some of the hardcore wannabe will still venture out there but its def 100% closed and private property and both have clearly visible signs that reckless 4wd and bike riders rip down on a daily/weekly basis to try hinder any prosecution etc and yes some tracks do have obsticles to try disable vehicles etc though they are still accessible the police do frequent them to patrol etc Mt Cotton is shit anyways and Ormeau was only good if you had a decent capable rig to show of your master flex and crawling skills (nothing wrong with that of course) if your after tech talk then go to outerlimits4x4.com other then that its mainly dribble ![]() if you got a patrol then head to patrol4x4.com ![]() you would of heard about 4wdmonthly they are good for tech and advise on different things etc but good for wanting info on tracks etc ![]() overlander is also another alright website ![]() australia4wd forum is a site to see if your bored ![]() the best is downunder.net ![]() all the above are good websites though in their own right its personal preference in the end. so how many times did you venture out to mt cotton, paradise road, ormeau and reedy creek? bit of a statement calling people like yourself, hardcore wannabies. |
