Hey guys,

well big day indeed. I'm absolutely exhausted. The turn out was overwhelming and exceptional considering the other events that were on today.

Like to thank everyone firstly for being so well behaved. Of course there are always a few that tend to think they need to do a bit of silly stuff to be cool and i feel sorry for them.

Special thanks to: Mike and co for the bbq!! awesome work mate
*McLeod and co for the drinks and dishing out the drinks to the thirsty peeps!

Very burnt and very tired. Thanks to all who came smile.gif

We were all definately there ... I reckon we got there between 1:30pm-2:00pm

Thanks to all that organised it, all that helped out and all those that attended and were behaved. Of course there's a few dickheads in every pack and unfortunately todays pack was no exception sad.gif

Extra big thanks to Mcleod, Mrs Mcleod (tongue.gif), Matty, Benji and TuFFv8VK (don't know your real name sorry) you not only organise the sausages but cook them also!!!

All in all a really good day biggrin.gif

Congratulations to those who turned up, Good to see a good turnout an most on there best behaviour. As stated big thanks to Matt, TuffV8VK, McLeod, Angels666 and all others that helped out on the day.

Big get fucked to the two hopeless dipshits who decided that they thought they were rally car drivers. Out of 100 odd cars or so, who managed to behave themselves all day, you useless bastards were the minority that HAD to be the dickheads of the cruise. Your chickenshit cowering in a car trying to be tough doing grassies, throwing abuse at everyone else shows everyone just how much of a wanker the pair of you are. BUT on a lighter note, Ipswich Police now have a copy of the footage, that was taken on two seperate cameras, one as you were being tools on the grass, and one as you were being tools leaving. Your little display tailgating one of the cruise cars was also noted. Youll be getting a knock on your door sometime soon, please dont bother turning up to anymore BoostCruising cruise, you are not welcome and will be asked to leave.

Was an awesome day... gotta love the twisties in the rex tongue.gif .

It was fantastic how everyone let peaple in etc and there were no serious accidents even tho there were a few cars pulled over.

It was a shame two morons in commodores, spun up dirt and stones at the very end as they were leaving, otherwise it was a complete moron free zone.
Thanks to all the guy's involved...

I loved the carpark exit strategy tongue.gif I think there were some brisbane drivers looking for blood after it tongue.gif

Just a side issue, might be worth having a printable version of the itinery (or even carry some copies on the day to hand out?) so everyone has the route in writing..... I assume it all went fine after leaving the carpark (we didnt go, just went to the meet point to say gday), but it was kinda funny seeing all the blank stares when newlyawaken asked "so everyone know where we're going?" heheh

I guess the most exciting part of the day was hearing the news that low_cal and kells may well be tying the knot on 8th August 2008!

Congrats to the couple... especially low_cal who isnt actually aware of the plan just yet tongue.gif

Firstly,

Thank you to all the organised and the people who were very well behaved on the cruise. I appreciate the fact everyone was very polite in adhering to a few clean up requests at Aspley.

Thank you to the providers of drinks and snags, it was well and truely appreciated after such a long (and beautiful) drive there.

I was ecstatic to find that Channel 9 did a positive segment on our cruise. It's rare the media use footage and have a positive story attached from the day.

Can't say I will ever be travelling back through the mountains on the way home again. Poor kells belly does not agree with windy roads.. and I am chicken shit of heights too lol. Corners taken at the recommended speed scared me shitless... god only knows why they sign corners on Nebo at 80.. we werent even doing close and i was still holding onto the handles lol.. and my stomach :S I guess its safe that I will never introduce body rolling Soosi to the Drift Scene.

Secondly, Hahahaha, thank you to everyone for the congratulations. I'm just waiting now on the ring and proposal, which I expect may well happen on the 11/11/2011 tongue.gif'

Lastly to the last two clowns. This was supposed to be a memorial cruise, you showed no respect for the cruise, participants or organisers. You should be well and truely ashamed of yourselves. And to Mr Beemer who thought it was great to throw stones up on the roadworks out at Kilcoy, you're very lucky I don't feel like going through insurance to get compensation for stone chips.
