Hate to bring this up but QLD All Holden Day is on this date, many cars pre entered/paid sad.gif

Im sure that with PB being Holdens favourite son, there will be a special moment on this day for him.

my question is will there be police or transport officers there handing out defects or supporting us

as i have a non plumb back bov and pod filter and that and i realy wana join you guys on this cruise but yet i dont wana lose points.

It would be good if the local authorities just turned a blind eye to defects and get behind us and support the cruise

I'm even gonna pull my CV8 out for the day..And ive modded that ,
Sits to low..wheels too big, Atmo blow off valve from the charger..

Whilst we cannot guarentee what will happen on the day, I am sure that there will be no issues.

hey mate,

i can't gaurantee that things will go unscaved however if no one is acting stupid i'm sure they won't be hounding on us mate.

i've organised numerous very large crusies and the only ppl who got tickets were from sheer stupidity or illegal parking.

and we have even had 100+ cars parked right outside a police station on at least 5 occassions and they haven't been bothered as everyone has been well behaved.

And to further add to that, Brock did A LOT of work for road safety and driver education, it was one of his passions, and the Peter Brock Foundation is also a contributor to road safety issues/driver education.

Doing a "rad skid" or "phat dorifto" around every corner is not a good way to honour PB, in fact it would be more of a kick in the teeth and against everything he worked for.

Anyone who drives like a moron on a cruise that honours the hero that many car enthusiasts worshipped when they were young blokes (and not so young blokes) deserves a smack in the mouth from every Peter Brock fan, as well as any tickets that would be issued.
