Well, long story short my dad gave his old '94 Barina to our family friend's son who is 17. Today while washing it we found that the left rear tyre was pretty stuffed, so I'm asking you guys for the correct amount of psi to use. Thanks for help!

between 32 - 36psi....

as in stuffed.... do you mean that the tyre was underinflated... or over inflated?

Dell try looking on the surrounding front end of the engine bay when you lift the hood and or the side of the front passenger or driver door...should state it if all else fails look in manual......that simple golly gosh... i keep my tures at roughly 28-30.

There's no tyre placard with the pressure on it? That's a defect! wink.gif

tyre pressures vary... for comfort people like 28 - 32 psi. for grip it can be anywhere between 30 - 40psi. im pretty sure max psi for a tyre is 45psi.

Yeah 32psi is generally the sort of an accepted medium.

I run about 42 psi through my front tyres and 38psi in my rears. It isn't comfortable but it keeps sidewall flex to a minimum and handles alot better.

It is within the safe pressure range so isn't really a problem.

34 is what i usually put in my tyres,

Probably should read the plackard though

It should say on the tyre how much it can handle as well. I put mine 40psi all round. Not really a more bumpy ride but it's slighly more solid and steering is better.

Don't forget that if you drive more than a couple of k's to inflate your tyres to put an extra 2psi in or else you'll lose it when they cool down.

what about low profiles like 35mm profile tyres. Does anyone know what they should run..less or more than 45mm+ tyres?
Id chek my tyre/car but its not here

i was under the impression 35 is rittin on the tyre .... is it ok to go above that?
