Yeah thats still the s15 turbo @ 1.2bar, with a power-fc, high flow injectors and Z32 AFM. Fuel pump was changed a couple years ago. Heh, too many 300hp+ cars to bother. http://redlineau.com/dyno/luke-s13.jpg

i agree Rhomel, if its not just for shits n giggles, i cant see why id go.........way to many stupid HP vehicles now! LOL its amazing how many 300+HP cars there are now.

It's too embaressing when you rock up and only make like 200hp then some older car rolls on and make 400hp is it worth your money to be embaressed like that. I'd rather run around naked on a cold night with ppl pointin and laughing coz my dick has shrunk. It's a cheaper way to be embaressed.

We are working out the definite rules over the weekend and also prizes and incentives, but classes will be

4 cylinder
6 cylinder
V8
Rotary

Probably aspirated and natural.

Please also note that I think you guys are getting way to serious about this!

Hey guys,

Hearing that some people think they will be embarresed, I am planning on put a 150-200 rwhp RX-7 on the dyno too, naturally aspirated.

The encouragement award will not go to the biggest horsepower car, but one with potential that is a nice, well presented, street car making good power. This award looks a little like this at the moment:-

Entry to the Jamboree for driver and others (not sure number yet)
Pit car at the Jamboree with our cars
On the back of the ute when we run the 9 second cars, ie, view from the start line
Food for the Jamboree cooked by a real chef, fresh and hot
Somewhere to sleep at Jamboree provided

You might not like us, cause we smell, but it might be something to consider, cause if you don't go on the dyno you ain't going to win. Also, it will not go to one of our cars, ie, mine, my close mates or the guys that work for me and Steve.

I also hear another prize may be a voucher for parts/mechanical work, and negotiations put this at around the $500+ mark.

Stay tuned, we will post next week with full rules and prizes.

Sounds like it will be a great day, BUT one thing...isn't the place at nerang...the dyno is in a sealed off room isn't it? and from what i remember there were only a few small windows to look in through. With the proposed number of spectators that will be there, this will make it EXTREMELY difficult to see anything unsure.gif

OK guys, let's talk costings:-

To turn up and watch Free
To watch on one of the 6 TV Screens outside Free
To listen to the rave DJ all day Free
To eat at the mobile food van Cost of food (Same van as Willowbank)
To watch the promo girls Free
To talk to owners and drivers Free

Getting the idea........

Smart Sparks and I have put up a couple of thousand each to make this a great event, all we need is for you guys to turn up and enjoy yourselves. OVL666 and the BWCC are sponsoring us trophies, Advantage Tyres have provided parking, my engine guys are providing some power! The Rave DJ is a serious DJ from a top club, and we want nothing at all. You can of course buy a DVD of the event, showing each run on the dyno so you have proof of who did what, but that ain't free.......

We also want you all to turn up so the police, department of transport, Channel 9 and the Bulletin, who will all be there observing will know we are responsible, mature and also serious enthusiasts.

BTW - Don't worry about police or DOT, they will be on their best behaviour and NOT taking plates if you behave.

We are also hoping to get some other free things to give to spectators, and for no reason, other than we want everyone to have a great day!

Still awaiting on confirmation from DOT aand police BUT from convos with both groups so far look promosing.And like damien said they are there to answer questions and give advice not go on a revenue raising hunt.
