Been looking into this and was just wondering what the differences are with one huge throttle body, instead of the stock sizes.

I read that if you grab a huge throttle body your more than likely to gain some torque instead of the bhp gains from the stock, or smaller throttle body?

Are there any pros in going for the bigger throttle body, or cons?

Not too schooled on this, so if someone could shed a lil light on the subject.. Thanks!

Big throttlebody = very poor low throttle response (as you basically end up with a very large amount of open throttle area with small throttle movement). 99% of cars don't need a larger throttlebody, in fact if you have your standard intake manifold I definitely don't suggest changing it.

funny how so many companies sell big T/B claiming big power gains......how is that possible when the opening into the manifold is the same size as the standard T/B?

like TRH said, most T/B mods are useless without matching manifold changes. twin staged/staggered T/B's is a much better idea(all the pros, with almost none of the cons) but this is major manifold changes/fab and is not alway physically possible on some engine layouts.
