im in the same boat as you at the moment. they blue plug should have a relay on it. ive managed to get mine to power up and run the fuel pump but the light on the ecy stays red so still an issue. will keep you posted on how i go. if you undo the loom you will find that a majority of those wires on that plug will actually come out. |

was talking to someone today. they told me that there is a 6 wire plug usually in the engine bay on passenger side of r33. 3 of those wires are all u need to get it running. obviously you will need others to hook up instruments etc but its a start. i will be checking mine out over weekend and let you know how i go. |

have found a guy that u just give your wiring harness. he will re wire it so u just need to plug powers in and away u go. costs between $250-$300. im gonna do that so i can just get it done. also saves towing the car somewhere. |

be careful. i was talking to electrician and he mentioned you can hook it up using a few power wires and it will run. but there are a few things that run from the ecu into that body plug and then come back out the body plug and continue in the wiring. so if they are not then bridged together some things will not work with the ecu such as cold start. the guy who will be doing mine hooks up everything and i believe even puts in a diagnostic plug. |
