Not Work Safe So...These new phone apps where you can meet le wimminz, share your stories!
So Tinder, Blender, Zoosk, etc

does anyone else use them? I discovered a few of them recently and becoming slowly addicted to clicking Yes or No on the various girls that pop up on the match/encounters screen they have and eventually chatting to the girls who also clicked 'Yes' on my photo.

Turns out you can actually meet real live wimminz just by idly flicking your touch screen to the left or the right a couple of times on the way home from work.
Am I alone in this amazing discovery or did I just start walking down a well travelled road?

I'm Finding it much more immediate, efficient and more importantly cheaper (basically free) than traditional web based dating sites and im wondering if my experience is typical or have you guys had better or no luck?

Right now im talking to about fifty girls and been on a handful of dates, one of those is developing into something more serious so the girls still at the phone chat stage may have to be put on the back burner.

haha i have heard that before alpha, believe it or not but i have met quite a few girls using this app.
The odd fake profile will slip through but you usually spot them or if not work it out as soon as you start talking to them.

you would be surprised how popular this stuff is, zoosk, tagged and blendr are pretty lame though.
so far tinder > the rest.

Don't know about back rubs,if I were you,I would be sticking to self administered dick rubs,half of them look like jail bait or hookers,the rest need to add three or four ZEROS to their distance,and we have been metric since 1966.The best one you've posted so far is the Chook,at least you might get an egg out of the relationship,if not I'll email you a good roast chook recipe

lol so many haters, was expecting a bit of racism, the usual accusations of jailbait (all put their age as at least 18 so whatever) and again someone assuming they are all fake accounts..the miles thing is because the software is basically just the american app but looking for people here.
The only reason anyone would not be as close as it says is because their profile is fake, whether to sign you up their cam channel or data mine im not sure, i have noticed there is a LOT more of that on blendr, to the point where I barely use it anymore.

All I know is I have about a hundred matches so far, half as many conversations going when i can be bothered to actually type (my only gripe is that i cant auto rotate and type properly, all thumbs is no fun).
I have met a few girls IRL and am currently getting semi serious with one so now just kind of browse to enjoy the eye candy while on the bus etc.


So basically sure, the odd profile might not be legit but enough are and im sharing the ones I find appealing, I could throw in the more amusing ones too but I noticed in a previous thread on another forum that causes all kinds of issues from accusations of cyber bullying to it just being plain mean.

didnt stop this from going viral all over the internet and then some mainstream news services too..

I'm very interested in this Tinder thing but I'm still not sure its 100% safe ! I mean look at the names.
I've never even heard of some of these names before !.

Lantha, Camille (aka Cameltow), Janus (Aka Anus), Mikhaila, sylvana, Char etc. they honestly sound like porn names !.

well the name thing i dont know, it could be that girls dont want their real name out there for stalkers to be able to put two and two together.
I lol'ed a little at the thought of trying to pull out the phone and explain why i need to take a selfie with both of us in it at the next date but if the opportunity presents itself in a less unorthodox way than I will see what I can do.

One way I knew it was legit before I even tried it was the number of friends I have who met girls through it and even girls who told me they liked it because the only guys who talk to them are the ones who they matched with using the YES/NO screen.
In fact the person who put me onto it in the first place was an older lady from my morning boot camps!

also with the odd girl that pops up I can see they have mutual facebook friends which you should be able to spot in some of those screen caps. One of them was a mutual friend with my ex gf which was pretty awkward when she asked how I knew her mate..turns out she was at my exes wedding ( i only broke up with her 8 months ago lol) while we were chatting..0_0

as for an asian fetish, haha ok, i concede to a little yellow fever but the next post will be less weighted in their favour I promise.

That older lady is obviously fishing for that YES swipe.

Also, I guess all this thread is, is screen captures of girls around your area. There is no pictures upon meeting them, no evidence to show you're talking to any of them or courting them either. So basically all you've given us is if we go on the application ourselves, we're gonna get the same thing just different girls from our area. Quite a useless thread IMO, you should maybe try venture out of your little digital world and try approaching a female and actually conversing with them.


AFAIK; Most of these apps you can change the distance from miles to Kilometers, be careful you can meet some real f'king headcases on these apps.

But all these online sites and apps, one of my mates is bigtime into it, but sure meets some fn head cases in amongst some fairly average ones, but whatever floats your boat, go for it

strong posts guys and I believe you have some good points both of you.

I cant reply in full right now Harlz because Im about to do just that, leaving my 'digital world' (which i only logged onto over brunch for an hour or so after a brisk morning run in the rain) to go meet a lovely lady for a browse among the book shops of Newtown.

I have looked for a way to change the distance to metric but Tinder just doesnt seem to have the option but I was able to do the calculation a long time ago on the fly and it's really not that much of a deal breaker. Always one of the first things I do in driving sims though!

Shuffs, I'm absolutely loving the strong stance your taking on this topic and its food for thought indeed.

ME? an attention whore on a forum? lol I'll happily take that if its the worst you have, in a way I think thats what everyone is doing when they post on sites like this whether its their car, a big rant about cops cracking down on hoons, a cool story bro or sharing pictures of teh hawt local ladies.
nothing wrong with expressing oneself with the end goal being attention as long as that expression is somehow enjoyed by the audience, albeit sometimes not for the reasons the poster intends.


Im not pretending to be banging any of these gals, I do actually end up meeting one or two of them and occasionally get lucky but I wont cross the moral line a recent policeman did and take videos or pics while doing so, he wasnt dumb enough to post said footage on a public forum but he did show every other coppa in the station.

Turns out Tinder is the next big thing in online dating lol, Didn't realise it was so big and Boost is the first time I've ever heard about it lol.

Would of been good to buy shares in the company 6 months ago however it looks like they aren't big enough to be on the stock market sad.gif

I reckon Facebook will buy them out before the end of 2014 or that Facebook possibly already owns it as it is so interlocked with your Face Book Profile

yeah im dreading the day they start charging for it or introducing incentives that make it virtually useless without spending your hard earned much like okcupid/redhotpie and RSVP do, all three of those sites have been in hot water for creating fake profiles to generate more income.
I don't know what the business model for Tinder is because I never see ads on there but im making hay while the sun shines!
