The beloved Ferrari of disgraced former deputy mayor and property developer Salim Mehajer has been seen smashed up in front of his western Sydney mansion.

Photos shared on Facebook show Mr Mehajer's destroyed $300,000 luxury car outside his Lidcombe home just one day before he's due to face court over a crash he allegedly staged almost two years ago.

The photos uploaded on Monday night showed significant damage to the front of the white car, which was without the bonnet with the engine completely exposed.

R.I.P. to David Hedison who passed away age 92 in LA
