I just realised I should probably have my phone and laptop fully charged in case the power goes out here.

Then you can use laptop to maintain phones charge, then you can also charge another device using your phone if you have a micro to usb adapter.

Don't think even my tablet can provide enough power for that, but basically my phone provides enough power to "charge" up to a current gen ipad, by "charge" i mean with wifi / 3g on the battery power neither drops or goes up.

We haven't lost power. But we did play boardgames today. I also bought the new black ops, but you know, dad cracked the shits saying I wasnt allowed to play it on the loungeroom tv and to play it in my room. I would if my tv wasn't 5km's away in a storage locker, that I hope to fcuking hell isn't leaking.
