well i am getting my P's soon so a v8 or any type of supercharger is not permitted unsure.gif it also has to be under 200kw, if the car is less then a year mum can put $16,000 towards it and i so far have $1,500, i would prefer it if it wasn't a FWD and i want low insurance and rego costs, but also want something that will hang the back out and has a bit of go in it, any suggestions?

dad swung a tray back ute past my mind, it sounds good but want more of a choice, im not into lowering or modifying ute's.

Thank you for any help!! tongue.gif

LOL.

You want a car thats less then a year old,
Not a V8, turbo, S/C,
Not FWD,
Cheap to Rego,
Cheap to insure,
Enough power to 'hang the back out'
Obviously cheap to run, cause lets face it. If you have $1,500 to put towards it, mum is basically buying it for you. Which means you cant afford anything.

Yeah, nah mate. There isn't anything. Your expectations are waay too high. You're not going to find a RWD with plenty of HP thats less then a year old, for $18,500.

on a scale of meh to fully sick uleh. how hektik do your skids need to be? if they only need to be of a below average size (1 wheel only) then a falcodore should suit.

should also mention i still have almost a year to save, want it to be manual and yes my mummy is buying it haha, should be alright with fuel as long as its not spastically hungry tongue.gif

edit: if it is over a year, mum wont pay anything and dad will put $4,000 towards it, i just thought $16,000 would be the better choice.

first your just assuming im a dickhead, i wouldn't do it on every corner i can find otherwise i'm throwing money that i dont have out the window. i would just like the feel of something that has some power rather then a little smart car.

and i also believe i said suggestions and that not a suggestion so if your gonna curse me dont even bother replying.
thanks for helping, bye.

heh...meet them in the middle.....a vn commodore or a ea falcon....not so old banger and a slighly newer "safer" car all in one and with a bit of decent power to get the arse end out around a corner in the wet

rolla boi

but OT the car your asking about is pretty much non existent, the only year old cars that are under 20k are pretty much all fwd.

Yeah, skip the risk of hurting someone else on the road and just aim for the nearest tree as soon as you get your P's.

get an old banger, something old and simple
- simple to fix
- simple, cheap parts
- no safety features, so you are responsible for your own safety. if you fuck up you'll probably die, and with that knowledge you're less likely to do stupid shit
- good start to learn about cars
