That is a bog stock 1995 ef falcon gli mate... the xr6 make more with the tickford engine. First gear in a commodore is higher usually, thats the only reason they may just win off the lights bog stock vs bog stock. I dunno bout vz vs bf but I find it hard to believe. The new falcon make 391 nm I think by memory. My old ef eats vs,vt,vx for breakfast with just an xr6 diff and a exhaust. BTW 1995 is only 14 years ago..., Top gear raced falcon and commodore basic models and the ford won both times, only thing holden won was the brakes. Yeah the ba, bf and fg have the paddle shift auto. Still gunna be sluggish off the lights being auto tho. The VZ vs BA/BF is just based on what ive seen. If your ef beats slightly new model commodores, and my old VN would beat newer model fords, i think they've both gone backwards with their newer models then. Got a link to that vid? Im curious to see what models they use, and how they actually compare them. |

I think it's more the fact that the cars get heavier and heavier but the engine output doesn't grow in proportion. |

I'm on my Ps and can drive my XR6T because it's still got the stock turbo. It's all the dudes with Skylines and imports and shit that change their turbos that can't drive them. |

That seems to contradict what Queensland Transport says: QUOTE a turbo-charged or super-charged engine that is not diesel powered And in their guide, one example of such car is a Subaru Impreza WRX. Those comes stock with a turbo and are not permitted. I'd say you're just lucky if you haven't been caught for it. For the original question, it all depends on what kind of fast you are referring to. Fast down a straight or through the corners. |

N15 Pulsar VZ-R N1 has a 1.6L SR16VE 147kws of power !! lol more then enough for a P-Plater and most likely the only car you can afford that are mentioned... it eats honda's for breakfast (everything but NSX and S2000)... but having said that i think S2000 and R32 Golfs are good but S2000's are quicker, corners and straights and will get the lady's just to let you know .. i have a 99 model sr16VE (auto) it revs like crazy on the dyno it make 118front wkw... not bad for a complete stock poosar that looks like a aus spec SSS hatch...i paid 8grand for it 1 yr ago with 45000ks on it |
