Never! The GT may end up being fitted with a towball to ferry the Honda to the track.

My Soobie will be my Honda's bitch biggrin.gif

Also another note worth a mention is the need for an Etoll transponder, theyre cheap and easy to set up online from as little as $25, and are needed with the introduction of free flow toll

In that case I'll probably just follow along a bit up the highway, don't use tolls enough to warrant setting one up.

transponders need to be registered to a car. They use number plate recognition cameras to check when it reads the tag. If you ever plan on using the new tunnels or bridges they are building you will need one though

I read this on OzHonda.

It is registered to the owner of it but you can nip online and add cars to it so if someone does have a spare one then that's all they'd need to do.

They are also doing the number plate camera where they photo your plate and send you the bill in the mail?
costs a little more if paid on time. Alot more if not paid on time

Yo, 02gsm just told me that if you can get the tag owner to log on and register your car to their vehicle list you'll be sweet to use it. You'll need to get them to deregister it if you ever want your own tag though.

These are the questions it asks whe nyou click on the add new vehicle option so just give them to whoever your borrowing it from - YOU tongue.gif.

*Vehicle registration number: Vtec
*Registration state: QLD
*Does this vehicle need a new transponder? Yes or no. No, unless your mum wants me to get free e-toll for the rest of my life.
*Make of vehicle: Honda
*Model of vehicle: S2000
*Colour of vehicle: Blue
*Number of axles on vehicle: (Including front steering axle)2?
*Dual / Wide wheels on vehicle: Yes or no. No

Heh opt not to get a extra transponder otherwise it will cost you the same price as just signing up anyway thumbsup.gif

list updated everyone smile.gif

For those meeting at Ikea, meet at top car park unless its raining obviously, there seems to be less disturbance of the ikea customers / attraction of bad attention, as no one parks up top, apart from the very few ikea staff members.

and most important, dont be overly concerned about being lost when the lights change when we leave, as a good percentage of us will be sticking to 80kph on the motorway in the far left lane, so there's no need to rush

Mines_R34_The_Ultimate
Post #209

ok quick question, do we have to realy register the e-tolls??? What happens if we just bring along our own senosr for the day (i will be rolling with MoneyPower not in my car) it should just send the bill back to me shouldn't it, not charge him for using mine dunno.gif I still get billed so what is the fuss about using it with different cars???

Need to know ASAP

J2
Post #210

Now that I have a Honda, I might come along to this, all depends on

A) If im working that day or not

and

B) if i can get an e-toll transponder in time, i've been slack tongue.gif
