Because he bought a drop tank for his car and it is very dodgy and not getting enough fuel to the engine and my dad threw out the original tank by "acadent" and he is looking for a new fuel tank. Something along those lines.

just remember if you change a fuel tank or add an aftermarket one, you need approval from DOT.

VL commodore and VK commodore fuel tanks physically look the same( as in same size and demensions).

But are not the same tank.............. Sorry..

The tank will bolt in but from memory the fuel outlets and breathers are in different places.

i put a VN fuel tank in my old VL with no worrys, lines all fitted and was less hassle cause the VN has a intank pump as opposed to the VL's external one

But will that fit onto a vk 6cyl efi?
