Hey guys,

I not so recently sold my 2JZ hilux 4x4, since then have missed it like crazy and decided to build another one exactly the same.
Peter King built the original one and i have had no luck tracking him down to get some info about the conversion.

So far from my research,

Motor- simple front sump 2J
Bellhousing- dellow make a custom one
Gearbox- R150 out of a 4runner (supposed to be bullet proof)
Engine mounts- close enough?
Radiator- have to get one custom made (any suggestions?)

Basically I’m hoping to strike gold and find someone on this site who has done the exact conversion.
Please note I couldn’t care less what your opinion is about the 2JZ swap, I don’t want any comments like “Just chuck a V8 in her”

Thanks for the help if you have any, and i'll be sure to make a detailed thread on the build for anyone who would like to do it themselves.
