do they have an obd 1 consult port at all? like the r32 skylines did? just curious as they had the rb30 so im assuming that they ran an rb30 ecu and im not sure if they had a consult port

r31's never had obd1 they had consult (a basic form) but not obd1 spec (unless its was a jap spec hr31)

oh true, wasnt sure, never owned an r31 or vl so was wondering because mum might be buying it and id be the service slave -.-

yeah, there is a thing on the stock ecu and you can put it into diagnostics and it will flash out errors from a light on the ecu
