Okay ladies and gents heres the run down. We have the 4G63 motor in our gsr car has been running fine had a small oil leak so replaced the rocker cover gasket. Problem is now we seem to have an air leak/boost leak or what sounds like one . The car is running fine until it builds boost. The noise started around 15psi and is slowly started to do it at lower pressure where it is now letting go at 5psi. It build up to normal boost and drop back down. We have the intercooler piping pressure tested from the turbo to the throttle body to 20psi and everything is fine in that department. All hoses have been checked coming off the inlet manifold and seem to be fine. We think it may be the inlet manifold gasket, any ideas ???????????? Mrs_GSR and a very confused avalonea  |
