I have a 2017 Nissan xtrail and my dipstick has broken from the handle how can l get it out?

That's a really good question!

Have you considered sliding a thin piece of metal wire (like a wire coat hanger guage) down, applying side pressure to try and grab the dipstick and pull it up/out?

Another option would be to source a new dipstick and try the same approach, since you'll need one anyway!

I'd hate to suggest pulling things apart just to get it out... completely last resort option.
