questions about Nissan Gazelle CA20(e) engine

does ne 1 on ere have ne knoledge of the CA20(e) in the nissan gazelle??

as my dads is runnig like crap adn we dont know how to tune it(never owned 1 before)

and yer

or does nw 1 know where to get ECU error codes from??

Keep in mind those jiggers are getting up around the 20 year old mark.



It might just be completely worn out.

wats the better and most after market suported engine and aproximate cost for a transplant??

for the CA or SR Turbo engine??

Generally the sheep of the auto world all dance around about the SR's...



but, from what I've heard... unless you're going all out for max power, the CA's are a better choice. Cast Iron block is a major reason they can handle more power on a stock bottom end.



CA's are cheaper and will fit easier in the gazelle. The Gazelle's in Japan came with an FJ20et, Z18et, and later on they had the CA18Det (but these aren't over 15 years old yet, so you can't import them)



There's plenty of aftermarket support for both... My vote is with the CA18...
