hey guys my mate sent me a few vids from youtube of Does pipes in action.. and i think they sound amazing!! Lol would turn alot of heads everywhere..


problem is when i asked my mechanics they had no idea what i was talking about.. i got an R33 and wanted to put on one.. the first thing they thought was a BOV but i'm pretty sure it's not that..


Any of you guys no where to get them / how they go on??

Your R33 has an AFM. It will need to be moved after the intercooler. Dose pipes vary. Most are just a straight section of stainless pipe about 30cm long or shorter coming straight off the turbo. Also need to remove your Bov.

i hate that term...

BASICALLY its just a bit of intake pipe which is shaped to make the "dose" louder...

My R33 has one, I don't mind it - it suits her... my 32 doesn't and that suits her.

Or are you referring to the "Microphoned" flutter? Whoever said you need to remove the AFM is wrong. Or move it. Which ever. is wrong. If you want "Dose" by a VL.

If you want flutter, which sounds better. Tighten the spring in your BOV and remove the airbox. If you still have the standard R33 BOV. It can be tightened. Suffer.

yeah same, i can't stand it...

my school has a lot of "muzzas" who love the shit...

"OMG did you hear dat dose?! it woz hektik!" but none of them actually have a clue what's going on in the engine...

i once tried explaining what a "dose" was...never again will i try...
