XR6 is pretty cool, still not a big fan of either XR6 or SS.

I say the SS. I have driven the XR6T with the sequential gearbox and it's a great car! Ford really did their homework with the gearbox and engine combination and something Holden need to do desperatly! Drove smoothly, handled well, had all the bells and whistles.

But then I took a standard VY SS 6speed for a drive and it handled even better. Couldn't notice any real difference in the "push in the back" department.

Main reason I'm saying the SS here is because lets face it most people who buy either of these cars usually hot them up further anyway. The XR6T is having major trouble with engine managment, gearboxes and heads in modified ones. Sure they can pull 400kw out of them but it doesn't last long. The SS on the other hand can still be modified and make a good 400kw at the flywheel and be perfectly reliable. Besides there is a product due for release soon for the GENIII's in this country and it's a world first. Makes great power and looks brilliant. Sorry I just can't say what it is yet but in a few months all will be revealed. Be scared Ford biggrin.gif

I have to say the Commodore SS and Falcon XR6 Turbo are both bloody good cars!!! cool.gif Whether you prefer Holden or Ford both cars deserve admiration for the performance and value that they offer. cool.gif

id have to say XR6T there are just a step ahead.. and they have forced induction..

not a fan of eitehr, but id go for the xr6 purely for the forced induction factor, though i heard one spool as it flew past me the other day and it was quite a beautiful sound
