Engine: BP-4W

Exhaust: stainless headers to 2.5'' custom stainless sytem

Suspension: standard

Wheels: 16'' supalites

Modifications: exhaust, rims, headunit, stainless 'style' bars, better headlight bulbs, k&n filter.

Stereo Audio / Visual: clarion dvd,cd, ipod player

Estimated Power: 140bhp back in 1999 so a bit less now.


hey all this is my mx5. hasn't missed a beat and is my most reliable, complimented and insulted car so far. great fun to drive.
looking to find out if the NB8B front end bolts straight on so if anyone knows please tell me.

    The front end bolts on if you change the headlights... I wanted to do the same to my old mx5

    From memory there was/is a show on Discovery Channel called Top Tens and each episode is a different theme. The top ten sports cars episode put this at number one on top of Lamborghini, Ferrari etc. I don't know where they get the figures from but it's still kinda impressive.

    I have always liked these. They look like a shit ton of fun to drive. I especially like the current models. Good stuff mate.

    the same show did one with bikes, the number 1 being the honda postie bike due to its huge sales numbers and the fact is darn near indestructible. thanks for the kind words and info on the front bar! will definitely look into it as the paint on the front is showing its age!
