Hi

Here's my new car.

It's the third car, and will be mainly used for sprints and track days.

I have previously had an RX7 and a Skyline that were fairly heavily modified however I now wanted a car that was cheaper to run and attacted less attention.

The MX5 is slower, but more fun. I bought it not because it's a convertable but because they are rear wheel drive, light, reliable and cheap to maintain.

I am happy with how it is at the moment. I don't want to have more, dish or stance, or any other fashionable mods.....

Details below. Let us know what you think!

Engine:

- 1.8 (106kw factory)
- 4-2-1 extactors that are HPC'd
- High flow cat and exhaust
- K&N cold air intake and filter
- oil filter relocator

Suspenstion:

- TEIN coilovers
- Front adjustable sway bar
- good, handling focused wheel alignment (they are fairly adjustable each corner from factory)

Wheels and tyres:

- 15 X 7
- Kumho KU36 205/50/15

Brakes:

- Slotted rotors
- EBC yellowstuff on the front
- EBC greenstuff on the back
- braided lines
- good fluid and bleed

Transmission:

- six speed
- heavy duty clutch
- Torsen LSD

Interior:

- Aftermarket head unit
- 6" splits
- Brown Davis roll bar (functional not bling)

f'king sick. Picturing aggressive driving with the top down listening to the beach boys, baws. I want compact lightweight FR in my life

I'd like one of these if it weren't for the fact I'm 6ft4 and would be like sitting in an economy class aeroplane seat with the bastard infront reclining their chair onto my knees.

Correct, sparco sprint V had me under the roof and I'm 6'4".

OP, you also have RPF1's by the looks, not just 15x7 rims.

Enjoy your new toy, you won't look back. Looks like you have a 10AE there too. Limited edition run with good stuffs.
