Post #1 post 26th February 2008 - 09:07 PM
The warn system was introduced to try and create a level playing field for users, and enabling Moderators the ability to amend user accounts with ease. The warn level appears under each users profile, and each increment is added / removed at 20% intervals. Once 100% is reached the account is placed on a variety of restrictions, the restrictions which can be placed on a users account are ;

Moderator Preview - Each post will need to be approved before becoming viewable to the public (NOTE. The post time stamp will remain)
Suspend User - Disabling many functionalities of the website including ; Posting, PM Access etc.

I have included a screen capture of the warn screen, and also an appropriate warn addition.

A users warn level will only be reduced due to the following reasons ;
  • Warn level has reached 80% and the user has an incident a year or older.
  • A Global Moderator sees improvement in the users conduct and decides to reduce, although this is based at his / her own discretion.
Again, this system was implemented to try and give users a 2nd / 3rd and even a 4th chance before the banstick (depending on offense)... So please try and work with us, if you find your situation has been wrongly assessed please feel free to contact a Global Moderator or Myself.

Use the following thread provided to find out your warn level : https://www.boostcruising.com/forums/index....howtopic=276005
