I spend a fair bit of time trawling the ads section of the site. One thing that gets up my goat is you finally find that part you have been scouring for only to find that the ad has not been updated in 5 months. So I don't bother making contact. Then there are my ads which I update every week, but the first text is always "hey you still got that part" as though they are running into the same scenario and have to check first to see if you still have it or if the part was sold months ago. I think a time line should be put on all ads, if they remain not updated for a period of say 90 days (flexible) the ad is removed. This would save heaps of trawling and time consumption chasing things that do not exist, it would also clean up the site.
My 2 cents!

Thank you for taking the time to post some feedback.

We've been progressively reducing the lifespan of ads over the last 12 months, currently it sits at 180 days, we'll bring it back to 90 days and potentially even shorter throughout this year.

Hopefully we'll even progress to short listings (5-10 days) that have a 'buy now' link, a bit like eBay and what not...

I am certainly keen to see the 90 day curfew in place!
