BODY:
Body is in pretty good nick for a 40 year old car (turns 40 in July this year)
it is a home paint job and as I am not a professional it is not perfect, the car is built to be a cruiser that looks good rolling past you an the road (and it certainly achieves that!!)
there are a couple of blemishes rising up around the bottom of both doors where previous rust repairs were carried out about 6.5 years ago but these do not detract from the overall look of the car.
paint is Chrysler Bonzai blue with Dynamic white GTS stripes, Guards are GENUINE GTS.
Chrome trim is in okay condition. the horseshoe moulds have some bumps in them but these could be hammered out by a professional.
everything opens and closes, the windows need adjustment and I have a roller refurbishing kit from repco that needs installing
INTERIOR:
the interior is the letdown of the car. it needs the seats trimming and doorcards made up (I have the original cards, tops and trim vinyl here). I would love to complete the car with a nice interior, but I just don't have the money or time to complete the job so it is what it is.....
original GTS wheel and GTS dash
very good dashpad too.
Hurst promatic shifter and fire extinguisher.
THE REST:
Diff is salisbury 3.36 and has lasted like a champ behind this combination.
springs are low 6 cylinder up front, low LH Torana at rear all less that 3 years old
shocks are pedders (I think) in the rear, and KONI adjustables up front.
wheels are Weld Draglites: 15x10 rear with 255 BFG's and fronts are 15x3 frontrunners.
VH commo booster and master cylinder
this car will not dissapoint in performance, lights the tyres from standing start into top gear... will lose traction at 80 kays in top gear with fat tyres on. holds it's own and looks fantastic as it cruises past you, I wish I had the money and time to finish it off, but I don't need to any more and I wish to move on.
