Genuine 1997 model ('96 Spec) JDM Honda Integra Type-R. Less than a handful even in Australia, as they are only eligible under a personal import scheme...meaning people who have lived abroad for many years and brought back their own personal vehicle, such as I have.
I have owned this car for the past two years whilst I lived abroad in Japan. It is a genuine JDM Type-R...with the all the extra fruit and performance that the JDM Type-R's have over the watered-down AUDM models.
This car is in great condition. I used it as a regular car to work, and as a result had it exceptionally maintained. Nothing to spend on it.
In my ownership the car was serviced regularly at famous Honda tuners "SEEKER" in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo.
EXTRAS - * Zeal/Cashiew custom coilovers *Aftermarket LSD and ratio swap *Aftermarket slotted brakes and high performance pads *S2000 push button start *RE11A super high performance circuit tyres *Blitz filter *1996 Spec Type-R - the lightest of all the Type-R's. 1059kgs. *Low kms - 134,000
Factory specs - 0-100 in 6.2. Quarter mile in 14.2. Widely regarded as the best handling FWD car ever built. Would be an incredible hill-climb, motor-khana, circuit car that would destroy most things in its class. Or, just enjoy it on the street driving it every day like I did.
It also has new badges and stickers, as the originals were a bit tired given its age. It was fully serviced with Mobil 1, and everything else of attention tidied up and attended to by Honda right before I brought it back to Australia. I have full service records and full maintenance history.
These are EXTREMELY rare, and prices are shooting up for these in Japan, as many have been tracked to death. Not to mention how exotic they are abroad as they only left Japan in VERY limited export.
This car has never seen a race track in my ownership. I searched long and hard for this car while in Japan, as I wanted a good one. It took me awhile but I finally found it.
