Sellers Description
For Sale:
Freshly Imported 1963 F-100 Single Cab Longbed completely RUST-FREE. Straight off the boat from the USA, this Californian desert gem is in completely original condition under paint, with only 60,000 miles on the clock. Left-Hand Drive with 3 lap belts installed. It has a straight six with 3spd manual column shift, all running and working - starts every time and drives well. There is a re-upholstered seat inside, with new soundproofing and vinyl flooring. The steering wheel, knobs, switches, dials dashboard and glovebox are in fantastic original condition, sans original radio (blanked off). Behind the newly covered seat is a brand new fuel tank & pump, also full of fuel.
All features & accessories work on the truck, including lights, fans, heater, dials, switches etc. - it even has the original 1963 Californian black number plates that it left the dealership with, and even still has current Californian Registration (EXP JUN 2018). It was imported privately in January this year, after a trip to the States last September. Unfortunately for us - this old girl is surplus to our needs & needs to move on to her new home.
All import paperwork provided with VIA for registration/compliance depending on your location. Currently registered in QLD with VIA & RWC under pre-1969 law & balance of rego can be organised with delivery within 150km of Brisbane - if interstate we can take rego off and ship East Coast fairly easily - contact us for quotes.
I am the third owner (& original importer) of this truck, originally rolling off the lot in 1963 destined for life as a campervan, meaning the bed is super straight & unused. There are a couple of dings in the front fenders from power poles or similar in RV parks, but overall doesnt distract, if not adding to the genuine look of this truck. The tyres supplied were around 20 years too old to see the road, so they have been changed to smaller tyres for shipping. The truck presents exactly as it does in pictures, and even better in person. It's registered & daily driven at the moment, so everything is in good order & test drives are available. The first to see will buy! Perfect weekend cruiser or promotional vehicle - it turns heads everywhere it goes.
