Hi All,

I heard a rumour that tere is a fixed speed camera on the gateway near Eagle Farm in brisbane can anyone tell me if this is true?

No.. it's there for the new etoll system.

The big black rectangles are numberplate recognition cameras.

Number plate recognition is done through the frontend software not hardware. The big black boxes look like Black diamond infrared illuminator

Dah.. But the camera doesn't know what it is looking at. All the smarts are in the frontend software The big black rectangle box is the illuminator. It floods the area with infrared light so the camera can see at night. Thats all I was stating.
