Hey all,
iv just bought an 85 4x2 hilux and it has a really bad turning circle..i guess im used to power steering but i cant even park it in a parking bay half the time without reversing back and having a second attempt. so bascally i would like to know whats the best way to improve the turning circle?
cheers.

a cup of concrete. i had the same model and i know ur pain, u will get use to it after a while. if u put a wider tyre on the front it makes it alot worse as its harder to turn and generaly will scrub making the turning circle even worse again

yeah its got 225's on the front so its pretty stiff..its not so much the stiffness i am worried about though..i can deal with that, just want more lock. Might look into getting some tie rod spacers or something made up for more steering lock, i know you can buy them for imports and you can get kits for corolla's (alot of drift cars use them) but does anyone know of any aftermarket tie rod ends and spacers available for hilux's? or any other steering modification for that matter?
