Do Nizpro still build VL turbo's?

My Mate EDO is thinking of taking his VL there for a powerup..... was pretty happy with the work they did on his ex-taxi.

there will be a vh45de Twin 35/40 s14 roaming the streets soon enough. If you are keen go for a look down a popular exhaust shop in sumner park tongue.gif. it is the goods and mick has apparently finished the plenum on it..

Yeah last time I saw it (a couple weeks ago) it had nearly one side of the plenum done, but danno how the bonnet will close though dry.gif

Looks tough with the turbos placed where they are thumbsup.gif

damn that thing is awesome!

That pipe would be for the water, similar to your radiator but it just sucks up from under the boat, goes through the engine and turbo's etc.. then dumps instead of cycling round and round like your conventional car engine.

But that thing is nuts.

all you skyline owners must be devistated they didnt think the RB25det worthy of the task ,i thought it (being the RB25 )was a V8 eater , maybe they didnt need that much power . ( the last part also in reference to the RB25 ) does that make sence now apart from the fact you are reading this bit before you even know why i added it ....... fuk now im confussed facesjump.gif

to keep it simple for you pair of toyota owners .... why didnt they use the RB25det it its so good . is that clear ??????????????????

sickvncalais
Post #27

His saying that the skiline ownwers think that thier rb25 turbo motor is ment to shit all over v8's. So why did thies guys choose to use a v8 instead of the rb25? (sarcasm) I have a little feeling deep down inside my tummy that it has something to do with the power to weight ratio (a big v8 is usually in a heavy car) would be my guess, an then thiers the fact that his only talking about a mildly worked v8 not a fucking crazy twin turbo monster of a thing.

theres alot of engines that they couldve used, 454, 2JZ, a quad turbo v12..
who knows why... budget maybe?

Because I've heard the boys from Nizpro rate it as the best production motor ever, though they haven't seen a Mac F1 motor.

Why do that class it as the best production motor built? Well you do the maths when that motor is making over 900bhp for 2 hours straight and chewing through 500 litres of fuel every second weekend for 5 months straight. That is unbelievable reliability for something that is surprisingly stock.

psi999
Post #32

According to sandman 350, a 350 chev is the best production motor ever built wink.gif j/k

I think they would choose a vh45de over an rb25 because it has 2L advantage over it so there is obviously going to be less lag, more low down torque, don’t have to run 50psi of boost to make 900hp. Pretty simple really.

I'd love to see it in a Skyline though

I think there is a few other reasons apart from that.
