Pictures from a couple of weeks ago, just thought I'd share them with you (would have been earlier, but some lazy fuck wouldn't send me the pictures). Here we see an innocent looking nana's car. We pulled up to a caltex and swapped intercoolers in 10 minutes flat, very impreshive:

and then we journed off down the yellow brick road to some bp servo in the middle of nowhere (read: coomera) where we stopped for fuel and refreshing cola beverages. Mr D noticed a "hissing sound" so we investigated. To cut a long story short, Mr D's turbo cooling pipe thingy was leaking water pretty quickly. I went inside and purchased the neccisary materials to fix such a leak. Because the hose was a) very hot and cool.gif very wet, I decided that race tape would fix it, supported by zip ties. Here is the end result:

That lasted for ~200km, the next day it started leaking, so we fixed it again in the same manner, with more zip ties. A job well done I might say.

i agree that zip ties/race tape should be the only tools needed ina car, my accelorator, brake globe holder, cold air induction and even my amp are all attached using race tape. My amp has been race taped to the side of my sub box for 6 months and its still hanging in lol
