if the numberplate's letter section starts with an L, always sus out the rest of the car Not having a go dude but not correct...The "L" serise plates are just at their run at the time those police cars are commissioned. I have a number of friends with LMM, LOP, LQW mine is LUK........ The plates will give you no indecation at all UNLESS, it is a QLD standard issue looking plate that commences with Letters inplace of number and numbers on the end and will be a Q or a G both reptresent that they are a QLD Govmt registered car or belongs to a QLD Gov authority. Generally will be used on QLD Gov cars that are authorised for personal use. |

Sorry to spam, This guy pulled up next to me and some mates at the spit a month or so ago and had a good half an hour yarn with him. Good bloke/cop I actually agree with you for once. Pulled me up in Aspley once, checked under the hood and that was it. Even asked me who's car I rekon would be faster. |

all cop cars are registered in the 10th month if you can see there rego label. Smart cookie! Took me a while to work out as some of the cars I had to work on had their stickers but were still 3 or so months out before commencing that period. |

I dont know how you guys can live in Queensland with the steathiness of the undercover there... Closest thing we have as an undercover in lismore is a blue Ve ss commo with aerials coming out from everywhere.. And there is deffinatly not cray old vans on the side of the road with speed cameras in them...so i praise u guys for living there..hahaha Cheers Seen that Ve around Casino aswell. There are a few Undercover cars around, but they are mostly hanging around in Ballina. My dad who is a truck driver see's them all the time sitting just past the Big Prawn in Ballina. Sneaky buggers |

Dont think he's saying all L series are police cars but that all police cars are L's at this time and registered in the 10th month, when the next batch come through all will be that series of plates, every single unmarked and marked car i've seen in the last year in my area all start with L. How long do they keep em for before upgrading? No piccies as yet but running out of the new Robina station they have a voodoo blue VE SS and grey Accord, both stock. |
