just wondering if there is enough people out there interested in a rotary only cruise somewhere on the sunshine coast.
if there is enough interest i will organize one. Go out and scare all the old people with the brappin thumbsup.gif

understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

ok I'm thinking December 5th. its a Saturday. first meet at Ettamogah Pub then we go down through gympie to tin can bay or rainbow beach. at tin can we can have a bbq or at rainbow we have beach and backpackers.. and prob schoolies to ;D or maybe both. depends what people want.

any positive imput would help. never organized a proper cruise. after more of a relaxing day then a race day. but there is some windy sections going to rainbow beach and some long straights along the main road going to tin can bay/ rainbow beach from gympie.

I would suggest taking the back route up to gympie. go out through pomona to kin kin then follow the road through kin kin which eventually pops out on the road to tin can bay. its a nice scenic route which is much more comfortable to drive then the highway and much nicer as well. the road is sealed all the way, however there is one 200meter stretch where it is only centre sealed and the sides are gravel.

if you do plan on taking this route however then dont drive like idiots. a few months back i thought id drive up to gympie along this route with a mate following in his skyline. we were having good fun untill we got pulled over passing the gympie poice station, and informed we had 3 seperate complaints against us.

cops apparently followed me for 7 km and pulled me over saying i was doing at least 140kph in a 80 zone. no radar or speed gun. just there word against mine. even though they admitted they started following me in a 80 zone while i was doing 100 behind 3 other cars doing the same speed and didn't pull me over until they said i was doing 140kph which is bs. off to court to fight this one. they also wrote down the wrong address on the ticket and they wouldn't debate the fact that they didn't have a speed reading. i did not admit to speeding and they didnt even tell me i can fight it in court. just got told. "give me your license you have just lost it. pay the fine with spur, bye."
i would think if i was doing near double the speed limit they should have arrested me and impounded the car. i think they just followed for so long to get the most money and points out of it. so of to court.
