I've been waiting for Paul's detailed build up feature in eXtreme magazine, but it hasn't been featured yet :-(

btw they have free dyno at this becuase they want more cars, and if you dyno ur car then u get free entry, there is a thread by one of the organisers in general discussions

so go get ur car dynoed for free

nope, its been moved to Gold Coast convention centre, and its in October now im pretty sure

Yes the Brisbane hot rod show has moved to the Gold Coast !!! it is a big move after more than 30 years at the RNA showgrounds.
With some major changes at the RNA including a huge increase in rental of the venue, inrcease in parking for patrons to $10,redevelopment of some buildings which created les parking close to the venue, etc, it was time to "reinvent" this iconic show. Patronage has also been declining over the last couple of years so now was the time to move to a better venue.
The new dates are 20 and 21 NOVEMBER 2010.
The show will be all in one room, ample undercover parking plus the advantage of being right on the Gold Coast Hwy it is walking distance to pacific Fair, jupiters casino and of course the beach.

Entry Forms and trader booking forms for the 2010 show are now available for downloading from www.qhrp.org.
We have traders from Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney confirmed plus a guest judge from the USA, Rick Dore, has also been confirmed. House of Color are also bringing over a pinstripper from theUSA for the airbrush & pinstriping demos.
This years show will be HUGE, the best in many years. Seminars are also back with subjects like hot rod building, hot rod rego,compliancing imported classic cars and much more!!
