Hey all,

Just bought a 1984 model ke70 corolla as a daily/future drifter.

I bought it in primer. and just went for the cheaper option paint wise and its now matt black,

Its fairly clean considering the age,

got 151,000 on the clock.

Interior is the light browny/beigey colour. gonna retrim it soon. black red and white.

Got 3 gauges on the dash and 1 on the drivers side pillar.

standard exhaust atm. will have extractors and a 2inch system soon.

kenwood head deck,

Superlow kingsprings

Bonnet scoop

sitting on standard 13's but I'm gonna get 15x8 sportmax 002 rims, Red with a chrome lip. gonna get white wall tires

standard 4k engine. i have twin su's but i think I'm just gonna stick a weber on instead. i hear twin su's are pretty hard to tune properly? and if not tuned could flood the engine. IDk

and when I'm off p plate laws i'll get an engine conversion. probly just a ca18 turbs. or sr20.. maybe a rotary..

Its gonna take a while to complete, to the standards i want. And im only 16.. with not much cash as i got fired for shooting my brother with a nail gun... ( TOTALLY WORTH IT! )

But Ill be sure to keep you's all updated.

And if you're feeling generous maybe throw some ideas up and some info on how to get more power out of my 4k.

Cheers all. Keegan. [:

It looks like a goer but I would get rid of that scoop, looks quite dicky in my opinion but each to their own. Very nice set of rims as well, but why red?

Yer i will most likely get rid of the bonnet scoop.

And im going red with a chrome lip. cause out of all the colours they come in i tihnk it will suit the rolla best.

Maybe do a touch of red in the interior to have the red equal out? otherwise it might drag your eyes to the ground not the whole car biggrin.gif

15's look shit on E7's and in -0 or more they are almost impossible to keep from scrubbing... sportmax is not a top idea.

    you need 14's.

advan oni's are a good place to start. or SSR reverse mesh. will cost you about the same and look much better...

sell the car and buy a 4agze already in a corolla its not worth spending 4000 on a car worth 50 dollars

buy a SR20, buy a tight lsd/diff combo, dont paint it anymore, dont touch the inside, buy a good clutch, buy some mild mods for the SR to make it that tad more grunty, and your car is complete until you are off p-laws..

also buy a drill, a few bags of cable ties and slide it as much as you can.

    that's what i'd do

I can't do that until im off my p plate laws. cause if i wanna use it as a daily i can't have a engine conversion cause it has to be mod plated. and i cant drive mod plated cars...

Im keeping the car. its my project so i can spend whatever i want on it. I dont wanna buy a car already finished cause i dont know its been treated. eg; if its been flogged. what is wrong with it.. blah blah..

Thats why it would be better to do it myself so i know its reliable..

    oh no -20V

    strongly against 20V's

with the money you spend on a 20V conversion can make a 16V go way harder

find yourself a bigport 4AGZE and work the head a little(port/polish etc.)

works a treat when i was running the 4AGZE stupid P plater laws =[
