Wouldn't say boo'd, but definately not drooled over or even noticed, i personally go there because it is old school, classics, mild customs and muscle cars.

It.s nice to go check out rides that look tough standing still and the lack of flutterz is another bonus

I think it kicks off as early as 4-4.30 and finishes once everyone is gone.

I reckon it.s a cruisey atmosphere as well compared to most of the usual spots. No drunk 14-15 year olds trying to be hard asses

for DAMAGING WIND and FLASH FLOODING
For people in the REDLAND and parts of the BRISBANE CITY, GOLD COAST CITY, LOGAN CITY, MORETON BAY and SUNSHINE COAST Council Areas.


Issued at 3:43 pm Friday, 20 February 2009.


The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 3:45 pm, severe thunderstorms were detected on weather radar near Sandgate, Brighton and Jacobs Well. These thunderstorms are moving towards the east. They are forecast to affect Cleveland, Redcliffe and Bribie Island by 4:15 pm and Comboyuro Point, waters off Bribie Island and northern Bribie Island by 4:45 pm.


Damaging winds, very heavy rainfall and flash flooding are likely. Large hail is NOT a threat for southeast Queensland.


44mm of rainfall recorded in 30 minutes at Bundamba Alert(southwest of Brisbane) at 2:50pm.


Emergency Management Queensland advises that people should:
* Move your car under cover or away from trees.
* Secure loose outdoor items.
* Avoid driving, walking or riding through flood waters.
* Seek shelter, preferably indoors and never under trees.
* Avoid using the telephone during a thunderstorm.
* Beware of fallen trees and powerlines.
* For emergency assistance contact the SES on 132 500.


The next warning is due to be issued by 4:45 pm.


A more general severe thunderstorm warning is also current for the Maranoa and Warrego, Darling Downs and Granite Belt, Southeast Coast and parts of the Central Highlands and Coalfields and Wide Bay and Burnett districts.


Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureau's website at www.bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 219. The Bureau and Emergency Management Queensland would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.

was a good night, damn there were some toughies up there.....

Good to see the drizzle held off too.

Bit of an acco out the front, but no modified cars involved

i second that nothing worse than having the walk past 20 commonwhores,falcons or ricers to see some nice older rides these are the ones that wrecked harrys dinner and they will do the same here as i dont see many older cars doin skids as they leave

Was a large crowd, but as stated above....way to many post 90 cars at the front. A lot of the ol regulars don't seem to be coming now days.
Still a few good ones though... Orange Camaro near Munchies... drool.gif

Yep, i'll agree about that 68. Detailing was damn good.

The yellow 4 door LJ had one of the nicest notes i've heard out of a tough 6 for along time. Making me wanna build a big cammed 186 for the HR.

Spotted a few members cars up there too, always loved joey's HK pano.

was thinking the same untill i actaully jacked it up and could see the shaft, and this is what i found sad.gif

didnt end up making it last night unfortuantly
