no springs all round for that pic, but usually SSSL in rear and SSL in front..
rims were 20x8.5 with 225x35x20 nexen tyres

Lets see, my ute had a dual 2.5" exhaust and YT mafless pipe and got 315.8rwHp from a stock auto. Having seen a completely stock VX SS roll up 304.3rwHp yesterday after a mail order mafless tune...

Have you ever tried going from the stock 3.07 diff ratio to 3.9 diff ratio? Basic mechanics might explain why a few more rwHp is possible.

Diff gears DO give you more power but it suffers from inertial loss. It is the same effect that a lightened flywheel gives to an engine, the power gains are minimal in higher gears but 2nd and 3rd can give measurable gains on the dyno. 2% of 300Hp is 6Hp tongue.gif

Maybe the oil gave ya the power lol But diffs gears allow you to build RPM faster in each gear. In my vy i got a harrop truetrac and 3.7 there was no power gain.

like everyone else is telling diff gears=no power gain,,,and as for a stock vx ss no extractors no exhaust no cold air making305hp ofa mail order tune...id love to see that must be a freak engine
