"a lot of yellow signs with curvy lines on them telling you there are plenty of sharp corners, narrow curved wooden bridges, and hairpins. The road up the mountain to Springbrook is safe, but it's not for the faint-hearted, so if you are uneasy just take it slow. If you are a confident driver and have a bit of horsepower under the bonnet you will think you're in heaven. "

We'll stop at the falls and head on there after....

o, its gonna be happening, it will be on a sunday as most people have req this choice of day and i'm open to suggestions as to the destination......if there is anyoneinteresteded in helping organise we could maybe work together in planning, as for posting up details of the cruise check here for details they will be posted as things are arranged.........

so the next steps are ideas for the destination............discuss......
also would be after at least 2 other volunteers, one too sit in middle of cruise pack, and one to sit at rear to make sure people dont get lost.

the more the merrier, and id be looking at inviting some parts suppliers also so people can meet and greet the local people that supply euro parts.

Hit me up for destination ideas, or really good roads that we could take to get where you have in mind..........to help save me time id appreciate a google earth link so i can check out the route without having to burn fuel....

thanks classy euro drivin type people.........

sweet! the sunny coast hinterland sounds like a good idea. i just read over the details, it sounds delicious!

Yeah well the eurocca.com site rarely organises cruises but when they do Id say a fair bit of thought and planning would go into them more so than a typical boost cruise. There'd be bugger all traffic through those roads in esk etc, and there's some nice places to stop as well as suggested in the link.

sunny coast would be a nicer cruise.
gold coast, you can stop off at the spit at the end. take over the ricers with euro class biggrin.gif

Yeah i would be in, just let me know where its going to be and what time on sunday.

Cheers.

haha good idea.. but the sunny coast is just better!

this wont be for a few weeks yet guys, we have to spread it round, come up with a route plan and get a few organisers going.

OK we need to get organised......
lets have a vote on the location and the date: ok so the way it works is like this vote for your prefered cruise location either Gold coast / Sunshine coast and then the dates SUNDAY 16th NOVEMBER or 23rd NOV ???? VOTE HERE NOW! Still need 2 volunteers with uhf for the cruise, volunteer or I will pick on the 3 nicest cars on the day!!!!

We will be having special guests from euro parts suppliers and workshops etc attend so you may be able to meet and greet the people that can help fix your car on the cruise also....

ArnZ
Post #30

Gold Coast on the 23rd but either date is alright. i volunteer to be at the end of the pack, but i dont own a uhf.

TMZ_535is
Post #31

Both those dates are terrible for me lol, 24th is schoolies and the 16th is the last week - so exams. But if I had to pick one probably the 16th, and sunny coast for sure. So if this is a definate I'll let the guys on eurocca know, should get a big response from them.

CALIbrated
Post #32

something rings a bell for the 16th for me. i'll need to check what. otherwise 23rd, and either direction is fine smile.gif the cali won't be finished, but should be on the road, otherwise i'll just bring the astra.

Reap3r
Post #33

Either date is fine for me, gold coast is a easier cruise to do i think and can stop off at the spit in the end i think.

I reckon i would be up for this..be nice to go for a drive in my car for a change..just hope it stays together.. haah
